Chickpeas in Garlic Sauce

  • 16 Oz. Chickpeas.
  • 4 Cups water.
  • 7 Oz. Highly seasoned pork sausage.
  • 4 Cloves garlic, sliced.
  • 1 Pinch cumin.
  • 1 Pinch cayenne pepper powder.
  • 1 Can sweet red pepper.
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil.
  • 1/2 Cup parsley, chopped.
  • Salt.

Place the chickpeas, water and salt in your Magefesa pressure cooker and cook for 15 minutes. Drain and reserve. Sauté the garlic in a hot oiled Magefesa skillet for a few seconds. Immediately stir in the cumin, cayenne pepper powder, chopped red pepper and sausage. Add the mixture to the reserved chickpeas and sauté for a few more minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
