Ideal for preparing Cuban coffee, the KENIA NOIR enhances the bold, robust character that this traditional brew is known for. It captures the intensity of finely ground, dark-roasted beans, producing a strong, aromatic espresso with a thick, velvety crema. Whether you enjoy it straight or sweetened with sugar, this coffee maker ensures a rich and satisfying result every time.
It is also known as Espresso Moka Pot, Moka Coffe Maker, Greca Coffee Maker, Italian Coffee Maker or Cafetera Cubana.

To maintain the quality and longevity, it is essential to follow proper cleaning practices. After each use, rinse the coffee maker thoroughly with clean, warm water to remove any coffee residues. Avoid using soaps, detergents, or abrasive sponges, as they can leave behind residues that alter the taste of your coffee over time.
Do not place the Moka pot in a dishwasher, as the high temperatures and aggressive detergents can cause irreparable damage to the materials, affecting both the appearance and functionality of the pot. Additionally, dishwasher cleaning can leave behind residues that interfere with the natural coffee oils, leading to a less flavorful brew.
For best results, after rinsing, dry the Moka pot completely with a soft cloth or leave it to air dry in an open position to prevent moisture buildup and oxidation. Periodically check and clean the filter and gasket to ensure optimal performance.

Before using your new coffee maker for the first time, prepare a batch using a mixture of 3/4 parts coffee and water. Repeat this process at least three times. The resulting coffee will not be suitable for consumption.
Fill the base (6) with water up to the level of the pressure relief valve (5). Fill the funnel (4) with the recommended amount of ground coffee without pressing it down, and place it into the base. Tightly screw the coffee collector (1) onto the base (6), and place the unit over low heat.
When steam begins to come out of the unit, turn off the stove. Let it rest for a moment before serving.
Please note that the handle must not be used to open or close the machine. Applying force to the handle instead of the body may cause it to break.
Use water and a non-abrasive dishwashing detergent for cleaning (this product is not dishwasher-safe). After washing and rinsing, dry the inside of the base with a cloth.
Regularly check the condition of the accessories (filter, silicone gasket, valve, and funnel). Replace them only with original MGF spare parts if necessary.
Make sure the steam jet is directed away from the user during operation.
Do not use this coffee maker for any purpose other than its intended use.
Allow the appliance to cool down sufficiently before opening. Use an appropriate heat source according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not touch hot surfaces; use the handles or knobs.
Do not operate the coffee maker without water.
If you notice steam escaping from the safety valve, immediately remove the coffee maker from the heat source. Once it has cooled down, check that the filter and funnel are not obstructed. For greater safety, have your coffee maker inspected by an Authorized Magefesa Technical Service before using it again.
