Warm apple pie

Crust Ingredients:

  • 1¾ Cups flour.
  • ½ Cup butter.
  • ¼ Cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar.
  • 1 Pinch salt.

Filling Ingredients:

  • 1¾ lb. Apples.
  • 2/3 Cup sugar.
  • ½ Cup flour.
  • 2 Lemons.
  • Ground cinnamon.

Coating Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup. butter.
  • ½ Cup. sugar.
  • 1 Cup flour.

Place sifted flour, butter at room temperature, a pinch of salt and sugar in a Protech Magefesa blender. With the mixer attachment on, process adding water little by little until you get a homogeneous paste. Remove paste from blender and let stand for 20 min. To prepare the coverage, place butter, sugar and flour in the blender and process until fully incorporated. Reserve in the fridge. Peel the apples, cut into quarters and then in ¼ inch thick slices. Place remaining filling ingredients in a bowl together with the apple slices and stir well. Stretch dough along the base of a baking mold. Fill with the apple mixture and top with the coating paste. Bake at 340º F for 40 minutes. approx.
