Sausage and Cheese Stuffed Jalapeño Peppers

  • 1 Pound Pork sausage, cut into bits.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened.
  • 1 Cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  • 18 Medium jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded.

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Place sausage in a Magefesa frypan and cook over medium heat until completely cooked and evenly brown. Transfer sausage to a bowl lined with paper towels to drain the excess fat. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Add drained sausage and mix well, making sure the ingredients get fully incorporated. Fill each jalapeno half with 1 tablespoon of the mixture. Place stuffed halves on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, until lightly browned. Recipe yields 5 servings.
