Category: Desserts

Cut each peach in half. Twist halves in opposite directions to separate. Remove pit and peel the skin away from the flesh. Place red wine, water, sugar, cinnamon and orange peel in a Stainless steel Magefesa pan. Cook over medium heat, then add the peaches. Keep on the heat for 30 to 35 minutes, depending on their level of ripeness when purcghased. When the fruit is tender, remove from heat and let cool. Take peaches out of the pan and transfer to a serving platter.  Return pan to the heat and simmer until sauce is reduced. Pour wine sour over peaches. Serve cold. Delicious to serve with ice cream.
