Hazelnut bread

  • 2¾ Cup flour.
  • ¼ Cup butter.
  • ¾ Cup hazelnuts.
  • ½ Cup milk.
  • ⅔ Cup sugar.
  • 3 Eggs.
  • Salt.
  • 3 Tablespoons baking powder.

Place eggs and sugar in a Stainless steel Stiria Magefesa blender. With the whisking attachment on, whisk eggs until pale yellow. Add the milk and a pinch of salt. Replace the whisking rods in the blender by the mixing attachment. Sift the flour with the baking powder. Add to blender and mix gently. Melt butter. Add to blender along with the chopped hazelnuts. Continue processing.
Grease and flour a rectangular baking mold. Pour blender mixture into the mold and bake at 275ºF for 30 min. This bread makes a perfect accompaniment to pâtés, foie gras, cheese puddings, etc. Once sliced, toast slightly. This will enhance the flavor of nuts.
