Chicken Puff Pastry with Mustard Mayonnaise and Aromatic herbs

  • 1 Frozen puff pastry dough.
  • 400 gr. Roasted chicken.
  • 4 Boiled eggs.
  • 1 tbs. Strong Dijon mustard.
  • Mayonnaise.
  • Lettuce.
  • Salt.
  • Chive.
  • Chervil.
  • Basil.

Preheat the oven to 392ºF.  Chop the puff pastry dough into four or eight portions and follow manufacturer baking instructions. Once baked, let them cold before using.
Dice the roasted or boiled chicken and set it in our Magefesa Mincer with a tbs. mustard and aromatic herbs. Chop until well shredded and remove. Chop the boiled eggs in the grinding machine too. Chop the lettuce into fine julienne. Mix the chicken dough with boiled eggs, lettuce and mayonnaise to taste until we get a dense pastry.  Open the puff pastries and serve them accompanied by salad.
It is important not to stuff the puff pastries until they are going to be served, so that we will prevent them from absorbing humidity and lose their crisp texture. We can buy puff pastry and freeze it, what will be pretty helpful to make fast, cheap and attractive dishes. Depending on puff pastry’s size they will be used as an aperitif, tapa or appetizer.
